Contract Haulage
Contract haulage is the core activity of the R.J.Jones Group.
We currently operate 90 trucks from various main stream manufactures, all of these have satellite tracking fitted which gives us the facility to know where our fleet is at any time and the flexibility to respond to our customers requirements. Along side these we have over 400 trailers across the group, and at first sight many of these may appear similar, but in fact they differ considerably, for example we have a number extendable and extendable rear steer trailers, some trailers are also specific to a customers requirements, these operate seven days a week in order to service our customers needs.
In addition a number of our vehicles are enabled with De-Mountable 4 way fork lifts and have trained driver / operators, this gives the customer the another option of having their goods off loaded, and gives the flexibility to have goods delivered to virtually any location whether that is to a warehouse or building site.
Reverse Logistics
Our deliveries take us nationwide, we can therefore offer a return service
Refrigerated
From our site in Wellingborough, Northants we operate a number of Refrigerated trailers alongside others, servicing blue chip companies such as Morrisons, Tesco and Carlsberg, both in the UK and Europe.
