With the growth of the R J Jones bussiness in South Wales, the company felt it needed to strengthen the team and secure it’s position in Cardiff with the appointment of a General Manager, with overall responsibilty for the South Wales Operation, Phil Hatcher has recently joined the company to fulfil this role, Phil brings with him a great deal of experience and expertise, and is looking forward to taking the operation forward in the coming months. He has the support of everyone within the Group, and we all wish him well for the future.

We have now opened an office in Cardiff, which is situated at Longships Road, Queen Alexander Dock, Cardiff this was previously the old TIP trailer depot. This move from our temporary offices in Newport, will greatly assist in the development of our bussiness in South Wales and improve contact with our current customers based in the area. In January 2011 RJ Jones launched the new JAUPT approved CPC Driver Training Centre.

Located at RJ Jones newly refurbished head office in Greenfields, North Wales, the centre is the ideal environment for the CPC driver training to be delivered.

Following a major refurbishment investment, in 2010 we moved into new offices.

RJ Jones head office is home to management, finance, logistics, Health and Safety departments, and our new CPC driver training centre.

Formerly a public house, our offices are next to our depot at Greenfields in North Wales.

We have recently been awarded approval to the UK Border Agency “Civil Penalty Accreditaion Scheme”

This shows we have in place systems approved by the UK Border Agency for checks carried out to avoid carrying clandestine entrants.
